Quality Assurance

The SGIC is a set of interrelated elements through Center which is managed in a planned, its quality in the pursuit of customer satisfaction and a focus on continuous improvement of the services that are offered . The UPM has developed a Generic System, valid for all centers and adapted to each of them for their responsible, according to their specificities.

Among the elements of the SGIC, the main ones are:

  • Strategy Center.
  • Organizational structure of the Center.
  • Processes that have been implemented.
  • Documents constituting evidence and with which decisions are made the Centre.
  • Resources needed to develop the services offered.

The system of quality management in a Center has as a support the Quality Manual of the centers of the UPM, and is complete with a number of additional documents and procedures, records and information systems.
In each center there is a Quality Manager who oversees the compliance and follows the established quality standard.
The system of internal quality assurance has the scope of the Centre, which will affect all parts of the same.

The Telecommunications EUIT has as one of its key commitments ensure the quality of the lessons taught in order to get the graduates better prepared to face professional challenges, technological and social.

The pillars to achieve this objetvio are:

Among the different aspects detailed below is information relating to:

Responsible for the quality assurance system

AUDIT is the program that applies to the design and implementation of Telecommunication EUIT SistemLa has participated in the call AUDIT ANECA to design System Internal Quality Assurance (SGIC) in the notice of April 30, 2008. On July 30 has been received ANECA assessment report which has obtained a PRO assessment with recommendations. On September 21 ANECA were sent to the corresponding arguments to the evaluation report. Today we are beginning the process of implementing the SGIC. Finally, on February 2009, has obtained a final report of the SGIC PRO, without recommendations or actions for improvement.

In the SGIC EUIT developed in Telecommunications provides that the head of the same is the Quality Unit, which in turn consists of the Management Committee and Quality Evaluation Commission. The manager is the Assistant Director of Quality and Students, a position currently held by Professor Juan José Gómez Alfageme.
