The library of the Technical University of Madrid has 20 locations at the different Colleges and Faculties, among them the Campus Sur Library, opened at January of the 2010. The main information about this library is:

- 62.500 books
- 79 magazines titles
- 1.383 DVDs and videos
- 10.204 Final projects
-  Laptops lending
-  4986 m2 working area (4 floors)
-  773 reading places
-  79 computing places
-  Rooms : computing, newspaper library, media library, researchers, work in groups, all-purpose rooms
-  Wifi access in all the space

Opening and lending timetable:
Monday to Sunday 9-22 h

Special days: 9-20 h.

UPM Library's information resources

 

  • Metabuscador Ingenio: Fast and easy tool to access, search and recovery electronic resources easier. Provides an only interface, with a search, recovery and surfing system that allows the user to access from one point to the multiples resources offered by the UPM: magazines and lectures articles of Telecommunications Databases (IEEE Xplore, CiteSeerX, Compendex (Engineering Village), Web of Science (ISI),...), electronic magazines, electronic books, thesis, patents, standards, e-prints, libraries catalogues, web resources, electronic encyclopedias and dictionaries, official bulletins... 

  • IEEE Xplore  Access to the whole text of every Magazine, Conference and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) standards.

  Documents and objects (texts, images, video, etc) in electronic format of th university. 

- UPM Digital File
  The UPM Digital File houses the academic and scientific documentation (thesis, PFCs,
  etc) in electronic format. 

  • Recommended Bibliographies : Recommended books for the ETSIST subjects.

  • Digital Cartography
    Collection of vectorial topographical maps (4150 vectorial maps, scale 1:25.000) of the National Institute of Geography. Accessible only from the UPM net. 

  • Bibliographical Treasures
    Reviews of the bests books that UPM has. Clicking on the link it is possible to obtain more historic information of the books. 

  • CEYDE: European Center of Documentation.
