Academic staff

As internal requirement of proposed Master Program, and in order to offer the best specialized training and research as planned itineraries, all participant PDI teaching activities have the doctoral degree. The core of teachers have a teaching and research profile that fits the goals of the master, both for the professional path to the research track, as well as intensifications have been arranged.

Regarding the professional itinerary most of the academics concerns the Signal Theory and Communications and Electronics Technology fields in order to guarantee the profile is suitable for the intensification in Systems. On the other hand, academics participating in the Services intensification concerns the Telematics field as well as Signal Theory and Communications to ensure they hold an appropriate teaching and research profile.

In the case of the research itinerary, each intensification should follow the same guidelines as the professional itinerary. Additionally it is expected that academics are actively integrated in research groups (most of them recognized by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) and demonstrating an appropriate research experience.

Currently, the Centre has teaching and research staff that meets the profiles described above. The knowledge field distribution of the PDI core praticipating in the Master program is reflected in the following table.

The academic staff dedicated to this Master degree is equivalen to a work load of 11,17%.

The quality assessment systems (SGIC) of the school describes in the procedure PR/SO/1/001 the process to recolet and evaluate the information concerning the PDI academics as well as the administration and services personnel of the school.
