Important notes regarding the language requirements:

- If you only choose English-taught courses:
- you do not need to attach a certificate of Spanish language;
- a minimum level is recommended for living in Madrid.
- If you also choose courses taught in Spanish and supported in English you need to attach an A2 certificate of Spanish language by the application deadline:
- If you can't prove this level by the application deadline:
- you will need to get a B1 level before the beginning of the lessons;
- if you add the Spanish courses offered by UPM Language Center (intensive one primarily), it would be positively considered (see next note).
- If you can prove an A2 level in Spanish language by the application deadline a B1 level is recommened by the beginning of lessons anyway.
- All the students are welcome to attend the Spanish Language Courses from the UPM Language Centre: the intensive course (before the beginning of the lessons) and/or the semestral course.
