Important notes regarding the language requirements:

  • If you only choose English-taught courses:
    • you do not need to attach a certificate of Spanish language;
    • a minimum level is recommended for living in Madrid.
  • If you also choose courses taught in Spanish and supported in English you need to attach an A2 certificate of Spanish language by the application deadline:
    • If you can't prove this level by the application deadline:
      • you will need to get a B1 level before the beginning of the lessons;
      • if you add the Spanish courses offered by UPM Language Center (intensive one primarily), it would be positively considered (see next note).
    • If you can prove an A2 level in Spanish language by the application deadline a B1 level is recommened by the beginning of lessons anyway.
  • All the students are welcome to attend the Spanish Language Courses from the UPM Language Centre: the intensive course (before the beginning of the lessons) and/or the semestral course.

Acceptance:

Depending on the number of applications, the candidates will receive news regarding the acceptance and Learning Agreement in 15/20 days since the application deadline.

Enrollment:

The ETSIST's mobility office will enroll the courses agreed on the Learning Agreement.

For that it is mandatory that the students send to movilidad.etsist @ upm.es an insurance policy with, at least, these coverages. If your Home University does not provide this service you may subscribe the insurance for UPM students: OnCampus Estudia y OnCampus Healthcare (select Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in both links).
