Ángel Manuel Groba González Ph.D. in Telecommunication Engineering from ETSIT-UPM Associate Professor

Born in Madrid in 1969. He obtained his degree as a Technical Telecommunication Engineer in 1991, that of Telecommunication Engineer in 1996 and his Ph.D. as a Doctor of Telecommunication Engineering in 2004. All of his qualifications were obtained from the "Universidad Politécnica de Madrid" (UPM).

Since 1991 he has been developing his work in the "Departamento de Sistemas Electrónicos y de Control" (Electronic and Control Systems Department), at present DTE, at the "Escuela Universitaria de Ingeniería Técnica de Telecomunicación" (Technical Engineering School of Telecommunication), at present ETSIST, of the "Universidad Politécnica de Madrid", where he has been a Lecturer until 2010 and an Associate Professor since then. He was Secretary of the SEC Department since 2000 until 2004 and from 2008 to 2009, as well as its Assistant Director since 2009 until 2012.

From 1997 to 2004 he developed his research activity within the Real-Time Systems Group at the "Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación" (Telecommunication Engineers School), ETSIT, of the UPM. He joined the Electronic and Microelectronic Design Group (GDEM) in 2004.
