Summary

In this project, we kept on the work done within the project A pilot platform for IP data broadcasting in terrestrial digital television networks. We redesigned an improved PCI card for data encapsulation, a Windows 2000 driver and a configuring and control application.

Moreover, we implemented the GSM return-channel and support for video streaming services.

The developed demonstrator allows to send IP data through a terrestrial digital TV broadcasting network (DVB-T). The data may belong to interactive services or to broadcasting services and can be sent to a single user, to a group of users (multicast) or to all users (broadcast).
