Summary

This project is enclosed within an EU initiative to spread out microelectronics among SMIs (Small and Medium Industries). It consisted of technical training lectures on different aspects of microelectronic design. In March 1998, a course was given on VHDL, synthesis and programmable logic devices and in December of the same year another course was given on ASIC design. During the final term of 1999 a third course was planned on methodologies for embedded systems design.
